Fulton Bridge is Falling Down... NOT

Dad had heard that on Saturday morning they were going to Implode the Fulton Road Bridge that spans the valley over the Cleveland Metorparks Zoo. So at 5:30 am, Dad waked the family up and we head our to get a good spot for the show at 8:00 am.
When we arrive at 6:30 am, the place is packed. Looks like a lot of people want to see the bridge coming down. It's cold out, and it's supposed to rain soon, so we're hoping they get this going soon. Aunt Kris, Uncle Russ, Taylor and Bella show up around 7:45 and we wait, and wait, and wait.

Here's whats is going to be Imploded. The areas with the black tarps are where the explosives are.

Bella is anxious to see it come down.

It's hard to see in this photo, but at around 8:30ish, we heard 5 quick explosions, but nothing happened. Turns out that a small section did implode, but broke the line to the rest of the explosive and the bridge remained standing. We heard that it was going to be awhile before they could give it another try, so we left and went to Aunt Kris's house to watch it on tv.

The second try wasn't any beeter than the first, a couple explosions went off, but broke another line and the bridge remained standing.

We went home after the second attempt and were watching the live feed on the internet when the once section finally came down arounf noon.

If you'd like to see it, you can follow this link and watch the short video clip:

Choppin' Broccoli

Today for dinner, we (Jacob and I) were having some noodles in tomato sauce and dad was eating chicken, scalloped potatoes, and some green veggie that looked like little bushes. Dad said it was Broccoli, I said I didn't like Broccoli, then dad remined me I'd never had broccoli. I still didn't want any. Dad offered me a dollar if I tried a little piece, so I took his buck and tried it.

I really liked it, and asked for some more. I'm still keeping the buck though.

Who wants to be a Cheerleader ?

Today was Jenna's first day at Cheerleader School. Mom signed her up for some classes because I'm going to be going to T-ball soon. Jenna really had fun, and I learned a thing or two also. Cheerleaders are hottie's.

Here are the pictures from the first class.

P is for Party, and Pony, and a bunch of other stuff

Today was our cousin Taylor's Birthday party. It took us a long time to get to her Chicken Grandma's house (she called her grandma that cause she has chickens, why did you think she did?) After we had lunch, the ponies showed up. The smaller pony's name was Jenny, and the larger pony's name was little big man (just like what dad calls Jacob) We had a blast riding the ponies, looking at the chickens, playing in the barn, and the party was awesome too. Here are some pictures from the party.

Happy Easter

Here comes Peter Cottontail, skiing down the snowy trail, singing I'm Dreaming of a Green Easter.

Yesterday we had to cancel our birthday party cause of all the snow we were getting, when we looked out this morning the snow was so high I couldn't even see the driveway. Dad got the snow blower fired up and cleared the drive and started cleaning off the minivan so we could go over the bridge (the valley view Bridge) and through the woods to Grandma's house.

Here I am waiting for mom to come out of Rite-Aid, she needed to pick up some medicine.
Here's what dad's car and mom's minivan looked like this morning when we woke up. All that snow is from last night.
That's a whole lotta snow. Dad is using the big push broom to clean it off.

Happy Birthday To Us

Today was our birthday party, but because of all this crazy weather we're having, we postponed it. Didn't want all of teh relatives getting into accidents or driving off the raod trying to get to our house for the party. So we'll have another party at Grandma's house tomorrow. We still ordered pizza and had cake with mom and dad, and opened our gifts. Here's the link to our party pictures:

Today's The Day

Happy Birthday To Us ! ! ! ! ! !

We're 5 Years Old

That's right, Today is the day that started it all for us 5 long years ago.
Both Jacob and I would like to thank Mom and Dad for their part in all of this, cause without them, well you know...

We were supposed to go the Cleveland Indians Home Opener today, but unlike 3 days ago when the temps were around 75, it's only 32 degrees out there today. So we'll stay with grandma and papa and let Mom & Dad freeze their hiney's off.

Our Birthday party is tomorrow, so we'll post some pictures then.

Don't forget to sing Happy Birthday for us.

One for the History Books

Since dad was in the middle of the basement renovation, we thought it would be a cool idea to put a mini time capsule into the wall. We got the big sunday newspaper and had dad roll it up tight so it would fit into the 3" clear tube. We wrote our blogspot address on it, incase whomever openes the wall sometime in the future wants to check out our site. Here's some pictures:

Here's the time capsule, it's The Plain Dealer newspaper.

This is where we put it. Hopefully it won't be found for a long long time (cause dad really worked hard to get the basement all put back together.

Dad put the last sheet of drywall up over the time capsule.
