Phase 2(b) One Step Closer

Today dad did some more work on the tile around the stove. He's now done with the wall tile, just has to lay some tile down on the counter top and he can call this job complete. He'll then have 2 things fromt he Honey-Do list done.

Helmet Head

Way back when, even before Jacob or I were born, even before dad met mom, dad had a big ol'truck and a ATV. Since dad was all about safety, he had a helmet he used to wear when riding the ATV. Now dad doesn't have a big ol'truck, he drives a little blue Saturn, and he doesn't have an ATV, but does have a ATM card. The one thing that stayed the same was dad still has the helmet. One of the things on the Honey-Do list was to clean and organize daddy's workroom in the basement. When he was doing that he came across the helmet. We played with it yesterday, and dad said that Jacob could keep it in his room, since it kinda goes with his bedroom theme. Jacob worn it a lot today, and during the time I was playing dress-up, he let me put it on.It does complement my dress doesn't it ?

That's right, he even wore it to bed, he's gonna have some bad helmet hair in the morning.

Phase 2(a)

Well, it's New Years Day, and we're headed over to see Gramma and then to see Grandma and Papa. Dad said he wanted to stay home for a bit and get some more work done on the kitchen tiles. He finished the back wall and the right wall. I think it looks good so far, just one wall left to do.

2007, here already

HAPPY NEW YEAR

We took a picture right at Midnight, that's Jenna, Mom, me and Dad.
Oh and Dick Clark and his wife also managed to get into the picture.

Wow, seems like just yesterday it was 2006. Mom even made a cake for the occasion.

We hope everyone has a safe, healthy Happy New Year

Up All Night

Dad said we could stay up all night and welcome in the New Year with him and Mom, so we did. We played our v-tech games, ate some cookies, and partied like it was the end of the year. We were watching for the delivery men, Dad ordered Chinese and mom ordered pizza and bread sticks.

This is normally our bedtime, but we're still going strong. Midnight here we come.

It's getting close, we might have to quit our game soon.

Dad said something about it being rough to stay up, so we were prepared for anything.

Are we there yet ??

Jenna tried to sneak in a little cat nap.

Okay dad, we're shutting off the game, it's t-minus 15 minutes, gotta brush the teeth and get ready.

Holy Honey-Do List

Wow, I couldn't believe my young eyes, the Honey-Do list got put up on the refrigerator today and it's a whopper (and I don't mean the sandwich from Burger King) There's alot to get done beofre our 5th birthday party in April. We started by going to Lowe's (we figured that we'd give the Home Depot a break from our family visits for awhile) We picked up a few things, and looked at a few things, but the funny thing is, everything we picked our means more work for dad, since none of it was on the Honey-Do list to begin with.
